Patagonia
A prestigious villa on the outskirts of Moscow is home to a tailor-made cooker by Officine Gullo, crafted entirely in stainless steel, which fits seamlessly into a space featuring the use of different prestigious materials. These include Patagonia, one of the most spectacular natural stones, a quartzite that stands out for its graphic effects of rare beauty and unique patterns of shapes and
colours: notes of white, beige, light blue, and brown, criss-crossed by golden veins, alternate with parts of translucent grey quartz.

This stone, which is such a focal part of the room has been skilfully combined with the soft sky blue (RAL 7006 MATT) shade of the cooker structure, made of stainless steel, powder coated, and finished with profiles, handles, and details in burnished brass. The wood used on the wall paneling and shelves, together with the pale oak parquet, add light and warmth to the whole room. The result is an elegant and extremely functional space. The large size of the kitchen (the main wall with peninsula is almost 10 meters, and the shorter wall is 4.25 metres), has made it possible to design a kitchen with a U-shaped layout and peninsula. This extremely practical composition allows perfect use of the ergonomic “work triangle”, i.e., the correct arrangement of the three main activity areas for easy movement around the kitchen: washing, cooking, and food storage. In this design, there are two cooking areas: an induction hob on the peninsula complete with telescopic downdraft hood, and a wall consisting of three elements (steamer, grill, and fry top), located under a pyramid hood and completed by a Gaggenau oven.
Both cooking areas offer the maximum freedom of movement, creating two mirror images and perfectly functional work triangles. Under the top, the peninsula unit contains a chilled wine cooler as well as a display case unit with printed glass door featuring the iconic Florentine lily, a symbol of the city of Florence, the birthplace and eternal source of inspiration for the OG brand.
The washing area is located under a window and consists of a countertop steel sink with a brass tap and arched spray. A dishwasher is installed underneath. All sides of the kitchen
are connected by handy work and support surfaces. On the opposite side, two refrigerator and freezer columns complete the layout. Since this is a large kitchen with plenty of storage space under the counters, the choice not to fit wall cabinets is a deliberate one, opting instead to insert shelves in a wall panel system for a lighter finished result.
